Outdoor Versus Indoor Tennis

Outdoor Versus Indoor Tennis

Tennis is a sport played year-round, meaning that you need both outdoor and indoor facilities to play the sport. Despite the exact same court specifications, it is actually feels much different playing outdoor versus indoor. Outdoors you have to deal with the elements. The heat, the sun, and the wind. The wind is probably the hardest factor to deal with, because it can greatly affect the trajectory of such a light tennis ball. Overall, you have to come prepared for these conditions (hat, sunglasses, change of shirt, etc.). In my opinion, indoor tennis is much easier. You do not have to deal with any conditions except the possibility of too bright or too dim of lighting inside of a tennis club. The temperature is usually kept pretty cool, and you feel like you have much more control of the ball because you do not need to factor in other elements.
